Possible answer:

      Some people may think that walking is a boring activity and a waste of time compared
with other types of exercise. However, from my experience, there are a number of advantages
to walking for pleasure.

      First, walking can help me relax in many ways. When I walk from my condo to a nearby
park, I see lots of interesting things along the way which help me relax. For example, I see some
beautiful gardens on both sides of the street. It is also pleasurable to see family members doing
gardening or other activities together. Even people walking their dogs or reading newspapers
on the benches can create a relaxing atmosphere on the way to the destination.

      Second, walking is not costly at all. You do not have to buy expensive dress or equipment; 
just put on proper shoes, a T-shirt and short pants, and you can step out of the house. You do
not have to be a member of a sports club or f itness center as you stroll along a public street
leading to a public park. So it is considered one of the cheapest ways of doing exercise.

      Last but not least, walking is good for health. Medical research has conf irmed that
walking is good for blood circulation and can reduce the risk of heart disease. Unlike jogging
or running, walking is a good exercise for all ages with all health conditions. Walking does
not affect your knees or joints in the same way as jogging or running does. You will never
over-exercise by just walking at a moderate pace.

      To sum up, if you need to do something to kick off your exercise campaign, walking
is def initely a very good start, as it is good both for your physical and mental health, and that
healthy lifestyle does not cost a great deal. Do not wait. Put on walking shoes and join the rest
of the walkers on the pathway to a healthy lifestyle.
