Existential Sentences

ประโยคที่มอี งคป์ ระกอบตามท่กี ำ� หนดคือ เติม there หน้าประโยคและย้ายประธาน (S) ไปอยู่หลัง

ในกฎนี้จะเห็นได้ว่ากริยาช่วย (AUX) เป็นองค์ประกอบที่จะมีหรือไม่มีก็ได้ ส่วน X คือ

A girl is writing a letter. There is a girl writing a letter.
โครงสรา้ งแบบ SVOC
A man is painting the door white. There is a man painting the door white.
โครงสรา้ งแบบ SVOA
A woman is putting the books on the shelf. There is a woman putting the
books on the shelf.
โครงสรา้ งแบบ SVOO
A boy is giving his sister some money. There is a boy giving his sister
some money.

* คำ�นไี้ ม่ลงเสียงหนัก ตา่ งจากกริยาวเิ ศษณ์ there ในประโยค เช่น There is your friend.
