3. ค�ำถามประเภท tag question คำ� ถามประเภทนแ้ี บ่งออกเปน็ สองสว่ น ส่วนแรกเป็นรูป
statement ส่วนท่ีสองเป็น tag เชน่
The train has already left, hasn’t it?
You aren’t leaving now, are you?
หลกั ในการสรา้ งสว่ นที่เปน็ tag มีดงั น้ี
(1) องคป์ ระกอบของ tag คือ กริยากบั ประธาน
(2) กริยาคอื กรยิ าช่วยจากสว่ นท่เี ปน็ statement เช่น
You haven’t seen him, have you?
ในกรณีที่ไมม่ กี รยิ าช่วย ใหใ้ ช้ do / does / did เช่นเดยี วกับประโยคคำ� ถามทัว่ ไป
He came here yesterday, didn’t he?
(3) ประธานของ tag คอื สรรพนามซึ่งเป็นตวั เดยี วกบั ประธานของ statement หรอื
แทนคำ� นามทีเ่ ป็นประธาน เช่น
She will come with us, won’t she?
The teacher will help us, won’t he?
(4) ถา้ statement มีความหมายในเชงิ บอกเลา่ tag จะเป็นรูปปฏเิ สธ
The boy can swim, can’t he?
(5) ถา้ statement มคี วามหมายในเชงิ ปฏเิ สธ tag จะเปน็ รปู บอกเล่า
The boy can’t swim, can he?
Nobody came, did they?
