(I can’t tell whether you like her or not. Tell me.)
You like her, don’t you?
(You really seem to like her. Am I right?)
การใช้ rising intonation แสดงว่าผู้ถามต้องการทราบคำ� ตอบ ส่วน falling intonation
แสดงว่าผถู้ ามตอ้ งการค�ำยนื ยนั วา่ ข้อความใน statement ถูกตอ้ งหรือไม่
4. ค�ำถามรูป statement คำ� ถามแบบ yes/no ไม่จ�ำเป็นต้องมกี ารสลบั ท่ขี องประธานและ
กรยิ าช่วยเสมอไป คำ� ถามอาจมกี ารเรยี งคำ� แบบ statement ในภาษาพูดและท�ำนองเสียงจะขึ้นสูง
